Overview

Flix Store is an e-commerce platform with a custom backend powering catalog, checkout, and admin tooling. Built to scale to 10k+ products with category-based filtering and faceted search.

Challenge

The team needed a backend that could scale to 10k+ products with faceted search, and a clean admin experience with role-based access.

Solution

NestJS API with MySQL, Redis caching, and a TypeScript-first product schema. Authenticated admin with role-based access control.
